Very low rental. They had something going for the first half of the film but it quickly goes down hill during the second half. They pull out a twist involving Charlize Theron that was just ridiculous and totally misplaced. The most important narrative moment in a film is how it ends and since this ones ending is total crap I was disappointed.

I just watched this movie for the first time today, and I have to say that I agree with Carlyle and Korey....while the film is highly entertaining and, in the third act, deals with some interesting aspects of what it would be like to be a superhero in reality.....it fell a little short for me. I just felt that after all the action and comedy that had occurred earlier in the film, the sudden transition to a more philosophical point of view felt a bit forced and out of place. And yes, the villain in the end was under developed and you didn't feel a connection to him at all, or any sense of fear what so ever. All in all? Rental.

Well this movie was ok. It does have a great cast and all but i hated the ending. On the plus side i did like how they explained his name. And also i thought that it wouldnt be belivable to see Will Smith fly but he proved me wrong.

The one flaw: Villain. It took me a while to figure out who he was. They have the option to go two different ways with this film and they go straight up the middle.CG is weak at times. I also didn't like Michelle's accent. On the plus side: great cast, great action scenes, realistic, loved the "may i touch your body?" scene- hilarious. Good humor. I give it a very high MATINEE.

I had high expectations for the movie, and it delivered.... almost. I don't know, I guess I was expecting more from it. Action, maybe. The actors (I love Will Smith's fine ass) )and the plot were very good for me; hell I didn't even know that was Charlize Theron until the last half of the movie because she played a tired ass looking wife so well. "That's Charlize Theron? Durrrrr.... That's why she's hot now." Usually I always desire a sequel to a movie like this, but I left the theater pretty content with the ending. I also left saying, "Damn Hancock fucked that up. They'll never be able to get that red shit off." My only complaints was that camera. Wtf. All in all I believe the movie deserves what the Spill Crew gave it.

Hanock was one of the best movies ive seen in a very long time. its actually different than most of the redone crap you see in theaters. as mary said in hancock they allways come after them. the villan in the movie wasnt supposed to be big he was one of the people mary mentioned. and when hancock 2 comes out i hope they will shed more light about the real villans.
