seriously?? will ferrel, as talented and funny as he is, is doing himself a dishonor by just diluting his talents with this kind of bull. I'd love to see him try another serious role like he did in "stranger than fiction"...intense, yet still hilarious. people would take him seriously and support him more if he diversified and stopped acting like a 5 year old.

Really guys, you know damn well what you were going to see, why act like it was going to be better than it actually was? I went to this movie to a stupid movie, and thats what I got. I went to laugh and it was funny! It was a little long for my taste but it was good. And what about WF's singing? What about JCR Boat's and Ho's? Come on! That was funny?

I don't think it's fair to hate on the movie because it's WF's classic type of comedy. It might not even be as good as prior movies in that "genre" but the Spillers didn't give it an inch basically because they'd gotten fed up on his formula. For others who haven't, I think it'll be a welcome installment after the disappointment of Semi-Pro. Yep, I'm pretty late to the party.

I just saw this movie, and it sucks. Honestly, there are no really funny bits, and its much worse than I thought it would be. And to top it all off, theres really no plot to it. It seems like they're making the story up as they go along, and its really really painful to watch. Some Ol Bullshit for me, this movie was terrible, and a waste. PS I watched a pirated version online, because I really really didn't want to contribute money towards this stupid movie.

I have to disagree with the gang. Which isn't something I do often. But I like Will Ferrell's movies. I think him and John C. Reilly are great together. I can't believe the hatred you had for this movie. Sure it wasn't life changing, but not all movies are. Not that anyone cares but I'd go Matinee as my lowest rating for this movie. But that's because no movie is worth the price their asking for these days for full price. Where I go it's over $10. For double that you can buy the DVD and have it for ever, plus you don't have to deal with the public and the theater's overpriced junk. But now I'm off topic.
