Full Price. This movie has everything you want in an apocolypse movie and so much more. The only bad thing is that the death should have been pushed a bit further.

I don't care what anyone says. But this is the definition of my type of movie. Entertaining as hell, not some boring movie with over an hour of dialogue. This movie is so excited, watch this with alot of people an its on hell of a ride. I would give this movie a full price!!!! It would be better than sex if it was a little bit more serious, but i guess the Roland Emerich didn't wanted to scare people. But this movie is fun as hell, one of my favorite movies of 2009 don't care what any one says. lol.

A million pointless plot threads, forgettable performances, half an hour of big, epic action scenes in a 2 1/2 hour film...... This is a Some Ol' Bulls**t for me.

This is by far the greatest disappoitment movie I saw this year. It started pretty good, but then... Jason Statham like car chases, getting away from earthquakes, almost getting killed by a gigantus donut, running from L.A. to Yellowstone in five like minutes... In one point, I even expected to see Will Smith in his little F15 and save the world. Too much action, too many laugh... 6 billion people died in the movie, for good sakes! And not to mention a half an hour drama scene, that is used to make movie longer. Actually, I think that creators of the movie thought: "Ok, we had disaster, comedy, action, so why not spice it with some boring drama, to make a complete crap of it..." This was supposed to be a serious film, and it was laughable! Hate it.

Okay just to say this. I saw this movie not even four hours ago and I have to say... this movie was AWESOME! Okay... not really. It kept me on my seat I have to say. Um... I had some problems with some piece of the plot where... everyone had some connection to frickin EVERYONE in the movie. There was so many coincedences that they made my head spin, but the movie was still interesting that I could ignore it. And that black man would. not. stop. going back to that stupid book. Every five minutes he had to mention that book or something about that author. It was really irritating. But it still kept on the edge of my seat that I was entertained so it was worth seeing.

Just back from this, have to agree it's a total video game of a movie but it's good to look at and I was never bored but in no hurry to see it again any time soon. Low matinee, if you are going to see it see it on the big screen.

I don;t really have a criticism for this movie yet. Still thinking up one. But I am just THANKFUL that Nicholas Cage didn't pick up a Playboy magazine half way through this movie and decide the world is gonna end. Happy late Thanksgiving you guys!

I might see this on the weekend. I'm not particularly interested, but the special effects look like they must be seen on the big screen to get the full effect. Those motherf**kers got unlucky, but those behind them MUST LIVE!

Best part in the movie spoilers* Is Charlie Frost demise at yellowstone*. I watch the blog since it started and then I watch the movie is demise make perfect sense and I felt the connection with the character. And woody's performance is the best in this movie, even is very small.

This movie doesn't seem too bad yet I only think you could appreciate some of those action scenes on the big screen. Not really interested in those "end of the world" flicks but again some of the effects seem cool. I give the Spill review a FULL PRICE though LOL! I love the commentary about the actors running away from shit LOL!

Rule of thumb. If ya going to make a movie about a specific day the world wil endl, chances are its not going to happen.

I agree with Rachel. That girl is soo creepy, It looks like he has gollum on his back, before gollum lost his hair.

I agree with JD Moreno, everything was so coincidental in this movie. From JFK crashing the White House, to Air Force one crashing into Ark 4, to tons of other things. It was worth seeing in the theater, though, for the sheer volume of destruction on the screen. A matinee is a good choice, not a rental. Good review.

I saw the movie yesterday during the matinee, and I have to say that I enjoyed it. I even would have paid full price for it. Hey, I'm a fan of Independence Day, and this movie reminded me much of ID4. It was a great thrill ride, and visually stunning. Yes, there were dumb parts, but for the most of the movie, it was exhilarating.

I went to see this (yeah, at a matinee screening), and it really just a visual roller coaster (which is ironic - I can't stand roller coasters). Not much else to it. Just silly fun. Maybe he should be the director for Transformers 3 instead of brain-dead Bay. (Oh, who am I kidding? Transformers is unsalvagable now, as a Hollywood production)

I pity anyone who takes this "prophecy" seriously. Yeah, just like how the world was going to end in 2000. And when it doesn't end in 12, it'll end sometime after that. People are pathetic.

sadly, if the movie was based on the truth... it wouldn't make 65 million in the box office. i guess doom and gloom is just better for the economy.
