I rented this and it was disappointing! I didn't care about anyone in this movie. I loved the first, but this one was BLAH! It had so much potential. The predator and Alian warring it out on earth and its only in one town with peaple too stupid to care about. Still I'll give it a rental because it had blood, gore, and action to satisfy because the story shore didn't.

I will admit I didn't go through all the responses to see if it had been brought up or not, but the reason the man was skinned was quite simple to understand. The Predator race has always been about big game hunting, there for because the cop pulled a gun on him the Predators instincts kicked in. The man became a threat and therefore was fair game. He was killed and skinned as a trophy. It was not pointless when you look at what kind of lifestyle the race lives.

Apparently most, if not all, the people who posted on here dont keep up with what is actually going on in Hollywood. The guys that made this film were big fans of the idividual movies and the comics. It originally was going to be nothing but fighting between the two, but as almost always, some a$$hole with decision making powers, decided to have them put stories for the human characters complete with backgrounds. WHO CARES ABOUT THEM!? But I did enjoy watching the blonde girl get killed. If they wouldve kept the "human element" out of this movie, I think it wouldve been perfect.

Oh, and one more thing; could thesy have possibly gone any lower on the actor grade scale then they did when they picked the cast? I mean these guys are obviously not "A" or "B" listers, which is not a crime in itself, but it seems that the Brothers Strauss thought that "D" and "F" listers were just *TOO GOOD* for their movie - they scraped so far down, that they made "F" listers look great! What would you rate the cast? "Q", "R", "W" listers? Or, how about "Y" listers, as "Y the f*** did you guys make us sit through a performance by any of these jerks without air-sickness bags nearby????" BTW, Predator RULES!!!
