  Low Matinee. I liked the first one because of the songs, but this one has close to nothing good. The songs weren't as great as the first one and the school scenes were just horrible. Alvin, in this movie, comes off as a bigger asshole than the first one. Zachary Levi's character is just plain annoying. The grandma was a better character than him. Theodore was my faviorite character in this one, same as the last one.

  I just finished watching this movie and from i heard from the spill crew i tought this was going to be bad but it did make me laugh, not just chuckle but laugh at some moments where if you don't laugh, then you have no soul. All kidding aside, there moments where it didn't feel natural understanding because they didn't want to get in the way of the green screen. I'd give this a high rental or a low matinee

  20th Century Fox announced that Alvin and The Chipmunks 3 in 3-D will be released worldwide on December 16, 2011. Yes I am so happy. I think Alvin and The Chipmunks 3 in 3-D will be called: Alvin and The Chipmunks The 3-Dquel (2011). or as I call it Alvin and The Chipmunks 3 The 3-Dquel (2011) Of course when Alvin and The Chipmunks The 3-Dquel comes out on DVD and Blu-Ray Disc four or five months later, the DVD and Blu-Ray Disc of Alvin and The Chipmunks The 3-Dquel would simpily be retitled as Alvin and The Chipmunks The Threequel or as I call it Alvin and The Chipmunks 3 The Threequel. I can not wait to go see Alvin and The Chipmunks 3 The 3-Dquel on Friday December 16, 2011. I can not wait to own Alvin and The Chipmunks 3 The Threequel on DVD four or five months later.

  It's alright i guess. Apart from the creepy CG of the Chipettes and annoying high-pitched voices. I still prefer the cartoons.

  Why does everybody hate this movie? I actually loved it! It was very funny. I thought it was better than the first movie. Alvin and Simon have got to be the funniest characters in this movie. Theodore is so cute. And the chipettes are cute. So to me I give this movie a Full Price.

  lol Cyrus used "is" instead of "are" to refer to multiples, then used "are" correctly later on but immediately corrected himself by saying "is" again... That was funny, but what the hell? Tenses, yo. Tenses... I am so tired of arbitrary Apple product placement... Screw this movie, what a waste of money. Kids, go see Fantastic Mr. Fox instead.

Like god damn the stuff from the 90's & 80's are alot better than all this non entertaining crap in a barell. Also what's up with the dude with the baby blue X-box 360 controller?   Alvin and The Chipmunks denotes the end of civilisation, a down grading of humanity masked by a banal lame, attempt at comedy. Also I spotted satanic messages when I slowed the voices down and played them backwards, the messages said "tear the Chimpmunks with your bare teeth, tear their flesh and feast upon them !".

  I'm so disappointed in Zach Levi and Amy Poehler. They star on my two favorite tv shows (Chuck, Parks and Recreation). This is just saddening.
