This movie was pretty funny. I liked the plot of the movie and the animation was pretty cool as well. >Movie Questions

It wasn't as funny as Shrek or Over the Hedge, but it did keep me moderately interested. Good, but not great. Matinee.

This movie was so lame. Is anyone else sick of movies full of pop culture references? The characters were lame, and looks like they barely put any thought into anyone in the movie (other than BOB). The 3d couldn't help this movie any.

It was a good film. Well worth it watching in 3D. Animation and voice acting was good. Better than Sex!

the animation was great, but the story sucked. They didn't develope the relationship between mosters so they didn't feel like a family to me, and they're supposed to be. And the Aliens were retarted. The mosters put on similar outfits to the aliens and bam the Aliens apparently can't see throught their bulls%#t disguises. The aliens didn't seem that threating, so there was no real sense of impending danger. I laughed like two times. The action scenes were okay. THe chase through San Fransico seemed like a poor man's Iron Giant. The chase with gigantica in the mothership was awesome but that was about it. I'd give a rental.

I usually enjoy most of these pixar'ish, multi-demographic animated films, and I gotta say this one probably receives a top 10 in that category for me. I feel like I should watch it again, but this movie made me chuckle a few times. That's often rare to find that in movies these days, for me at least. I'm glad I had a chance to catch this in theatres.

Gotta agree with Carlyle and Cyrus on this one. I thought the action was exciting on a technical level (which places it above a movie like Transformers which shot it's action randomly), but the lack of involvement in the characters kept me from feeling any significant peril on their behalf. The Incredibles had those moments, like when Mr. Incredible confesses his fear of losing his wife and family, followed by Helen's reassuring counter - all with intelligent dialog - so when the big fight takes off in earnest, we're more involved in their struggle, because they're more human and relatable. MvA didn't give me a stake in these characters' success or failure. It does get a few points from me for being attractively filmed, but I don't remember much of the film standing out in any way outside of the visuals. Overall, I'd say a 2.5 or 3 out of 5. Harmless, but aggressively mediocre, and unwilling to challenge itself to utilize the vast wealth of possibilities the title implies except in the most ordinary ways.

My son and I find the movie fantastic! I was actually forced to suspend my time grinding >warcraft gold on WoW just to watch this animated film. And I'm glad that it is worth the time and money. :)

I really enjoyed it. I wasn't rolling on the floor laughing but there were a few laughs. I love all the voice actors and i could have watched Seth Rogen as B.O.B all day!

I think this movie works on several levels, but it's not completely spectacular. The mix of genres and elements in the story was well done, but not the biggest impact about the movie. The thing I liked most about it is that folks from all generations can watch this movie and enjoy it together, which is so rare in cinema lately. Either you can't have the kiddies watching a movie, or the movie makes the older folks feeling dumber for having watched it. It is also a movie that grandparents can take their grandchildren to and share a few chuckles, then go back home and watch some of the old 50's creature features together. This is akin to how my own grandfather went to see Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark with me, and he told me how the style of the film was much like the old radio and some early TV adventure series. I got hooked on those as a result, and enjoyed many of the radio classics. Something like this comes along to bridge the generations rarely, and if it's not stupid and all can have a bit of fun, it's a winner. FULL PRICE!! Funny review as well, guys. :D

I agree that it's a fun movie. But it kinda turned me off on parts when it became silly for no reason. If you are gonna see this see it in 3D...the 3D is Awsome!
