Honestly, I saw the Japanese original of this movie, and I never really thought it was that great. Granted it's still better than this pieice of shit.

The inny-minny-minny-mo choosing is a bit of bs. "That's not my ringtone" should be "WTF?" and when your friend dies, block their stupid number. Change your #. Daaayyuuumm.

I went to see this movie with high expectations because I already saw the Japanese version and after an hour and a half I was so disappointed, its a movie that doesn't scare at all, in fact some situations are even funny. The story about a chain of people receive terrifying cell phone messages of their own final fatal moments was quite interesting but a poorly developed plot ruin everything. The cast is a mix of little known and unknown actors, everyone with lousy performances. Just a couple of things were good in this movie in my opinion, the makeup and the special effects, everything else was just bad. To conclude, watching this movie was a completely waste of time and money, if you wanna get scared with a good horror movie go and see the Japanese version of this movie.

I made a short film about a supernatural cell phone. It was called Hell Phone!, and it ended with the biting into the guy's ear and taking over his mind. I was way cooler than this looks.

I generally LIKE Japanese remakes (The Ring, The Grudge, and I even tolerated the second one), but this was just plain bad.

The Japanese horror remakes need to stop! Is it so difficult for Hollywood to come up with creative ideas that we have to slaughter already "average" foriegn films? I didn't even think 'The Ring' was all that good.. this just looks like garbage.

ahaha, you got hit by a train and are still dialing on your phone. Man, the moment I saw this preview I thought it looked ripped off and done poorly.

Hollywood was ALREADY creatively-bankrupt WITH all those "brilliant" writers, now thanks to the writer's strike, all can look forward crap like this being green-lighted left and right.

I actually like the idea of haunted technology, but the movies need better directors and cinematography. Event Horizon was all about haunted tech, and that was a great movie because of the dialogue!

You just know Uwe Bowl will take that mario murder idea and turn it into a low budget movie.
