I don't know. MAYBE it's a rental. While I thought it was along the lines of "standard and predictable horror", it did succeed in scaring me at some points when that girl was looking at me. I'm usually able to get through that, but something about how she looked at me sometimes freaked me out! But when she got snake skin it got stupid. The acting and story weren't great, but it succeeded at SOME things. Low rental maybe.

First of all, the original is THAI not japanese...and it was waaaay better than the remake one..the remake one just change the storyline and everything and it totally cracks me up.. but i guess this is a proof that no originality exists inn hollywood and the remake will never be as good as the original.

you had me cracking up on this. I've been in Japan for 2 years and I've refused to watch any more scary movies since I've been here. Grudge scared me to death and being around the original inspiration for dead haunting asian girls has stopped me from watching horror movies in this atmosphere!

I saw it with my boyfriend last weekend, but I thought it was scary (only 'cause I'm a girl) but my bf made it completely funny, during the quiet parts he'd just shout random shit. So, yeah. It was a good movie overall, though.
