Jasmin Holmes, try to think about things before you post them...Coraline was originally a book that was written BEFORE the original Spiderwick Chronicles novel. Spring is right.

I completely agree. This is storytelling at its finest. The computer animation is at its finest and does justice to the original drawings. The story is perfect family entertainment and just a joy to experience. Full Price!

This movie wasn't that faithful to the books but I still thought it was an excellent movie that I would see again. Full Price.

Oh my god I hated this movie! It was so unfaithful and everything looked like a baby had been given some crayons. Freddie Highmore was good though. I listened to the podcast, this is no where near as good as Golden Compass!

Hubby and I really liked this movie. The thing that blew me away the most is that Freddie Highmore plays BOTH of the boys in the movie - WTF? I spent the whole movie going "Wow, those twins look a lot alike, I can hardly tell them apart" - then the credits rolled and I was like, "BwaHUH?" Definite double take.

I thought this was a decent movie, mainly because its original. Narnia is just a rip off of Lord of the Rings, and Harry Potter... its just lame. Hey, I like Kids movie, but I have a good excuse, I'm insane. But those 2 movies... fucking terrible, I hope they don't make anymore Harry Pothead movies. This was decent, maybe it can get a sequel if they'll make one.

I'm not surprised to see that they made a movie on this series; I worked at the local library and the children were always waiting to sign these books out as soon as they were returned by the previous child. I'm glad to hear that it seems more family friendly than "The Golden Compass".

It's nice to see a fantasy genre with room for new comers. I was beginning to think that LOTR and Harry Potter were in a league of their own! Now here is to hoping they don't screw up the Chronicles of Narnia series.
