all I can say is GREAT REVIEW. This rating is exactly what I expected. I actually tolerated the original and all, but I knew as soon as I heard of a sequel I knew they would mess it up completely and they did. Mannnnn I wouldn't even buy this bootleg lol.

As a 15-year old girl: how stupid do y'all think we are?! Just kidding :) I thought that New Moon might be a little better than Twilight (considering the source material, of course) but it looks like I'm mistaken.

A nice little conversation I have just had has alluded me to the point that 'Twilight' is like a porno, for the ladies. You don't go see it for the story of FX and stuff, you see it for what it does to your pants. I understand now.

Anything with the name "Twilight" suck's balls...except for "The twilight zone". I 100% completely agree with the spill crew...Some ol' Bullshit!!..even watching the trailers/previews for this just monstrousity just makes me feel like I need to put a Magnum Revolver to my fuck'n temple, followed by pulling the trigger.

I thought there was no way anyone could "gay up" a vampire movie more than Tom Cruise when he played "Lestat" but my good God... these Twilight freaks have out-gayed anything Captain Scientology could have ever created. Btw, the comment about the werewolf (Sharkboy) dragging his ass on the carpet... Brilliant. I'm a new fan of you guys, keep it up.

Damn! This stinker just brought in $140+ million over the w/e. It is the #3 BIGGEST opening weekend in Movie history, Behind Batman and Spiderman. Damn, the power of women. Does this mean less graphic violence and sex??? Ohhhhh God, and we were afraid of Disney watering down marvel.............

well though I haven't seen New Moon yet i actually dug Twilight and read a couple of the books, but my thoughts when it comes to film critics in general about this flick are narrowed to 2 crowds here. The first bunch being the small one, looks at NM as a flick that sure it has it's flaws technically, seems very under-developed on-screen and realizes the performances may not be the finest, but they accept it for what it is. They know that they might not be the audience but they do see the cultural phonemena behind the books, the characters, and the people who are into it, with this generation so these critics embrace it and give nothing but luck for success, Now the second crowd of critics which is the bigger crowd and unfortunately you boys at Spill are apart of them, besides the flaws in filming and the basic performances, absolutely LOATHE this film, and book series to the point that it's personal. I think it's hularious, especially since you mentioned the underworld series, like you expect all vampire and gothic influenced film to feel like the 80's and early 90's. News flash people the days of Anne Rice, Bauhaus, PVC, and Trent Reznor producing your soundtracks have gotten extremely old and out-dated. Ideas like Twilight like it or not are what this generation is talking about. Sure the movies aren't up to par, but Edward Cullen is this generation's Lestat from the books to the big-screen. The few who have reviewed this way to me sound more reasonable and more optimistic, and only concentrate on the making of the film. You guys and majority of critics, sure you comment on the technical side, but you really emphasize on your personal resentment to something looking sounding and re-vamping ways and a culture you can't accept is (no offense) out-dated.

Yo Korey, you are way too lenient. Just because it is geared toward a specific audience, it does not mean that it can't be "Some ol' Bulls*t"

Ok the dialogue sucked because they followed the book which wasn't well written. As a fan of the book, I loved the movie for following the book but there are tons of other movies that are way better than this. I do agree about the acting though. Oh and the "werewolves" are supposed to look like that. If you read the books you find out that they are shapeshifters, not werewolves and are supposed to look like really large wolves.

I can't wait to see this in break room at my college when it comes out on DVD, only so that me and my friends can make fun of horrible lines like the first movie e.g. " Your like my own personal brand of Heroine." This movie made me watch Blade a decent vampire movie in front of my 14 year old sister, just to show her that Vampires don't have to be pussies and emotionally dysfunctional teenagers.

My friend tried to say the movie would be better than the first and we should go. Thank God I didn't. I didn't like the first movie and thank God again I saw it on DVD at a friends house instead of spending $8-$10 in the movie theaters. So thanks Spill crew for a funny review and saving me another $8-$10.
