Haha. It wasn't bad. I put it between rental and matinee. In my opinion, Paul Anderson's not so bad when he works on things that he didn't write himself. I enjoyed Mortal Kombat, I LOVED Event Horizon and I even liked Soldier to some degree. He only gets REALLY shitty when he works on his own scripts, i.e. Resident Evil, AVP, etc. He needs to drop the Michael Bay camerawork though. It's like Leon says, you can barely see anything during some of the action in Death Race.

I thought that this was a great movie ( I didn't like it when the camera was all shaky , like in the part where Jason Stathom is talking to the black dude in his area of the garage , the camera was bouncing up & down , it made me motion sick ) . Also I think this would be a great idea for a online racing video game for all major consoles .

Could Jason Statham do any other type of movie? He's not an iconic action hero, probably because he chooses films with scripts that seem like they are written by a Charles Bronson fan with ADHD, so perhaps a drama or an intelligent comedy (i.e. nothing wrote by those idiots who wrote Meet the Spartans) would be more to his talents?
