I enjoyed the movie. It's not something that I would watch again. But I really like that starring actor tho. He cracks the hell outta me.

Judd Apatow hit the jackpot with Pineapple Express. The latest movies he produced where funny but it seems that they were all the same but this one was completely different. It has lots of funny moments and situations, the jokes were great although they turn to be kinda repetitive as the movie moves along. It is full of action and adventure. The story is original, the plot is interesting and very well developed. Loved the soundtrack, the music was great. It has a very fast paced rhythm, a very good thing because the movie never turns to be tiresome to the viewer. The cast is very good, Seth Rogen was excellent with a very funny performance, James Franco was hilarious in a role completely different from what he done before, Danny McBride was a real surprise as Red and the supporting roles from Rosie Perez, Gary Cole, Kevin Corrigan and Craig Robinson were very convincing. In conclusion, Pineapple Express is a movie which only purpose is to entertain. So if you are in the mood of a simple comedy, sit down, turn your brain off, relax and enjoy.

Pineapple Express is fun, dopey (pun intended) fare that gets better treatment than its concept probably deserved thanks to the talent of its writers, cast and director.I don't smoke weed.I drink wine and fine cheese..so this is good movie to take with you back home on dvd too.

Now I only saw half of this movie, cuz I snuk in...but Leon is right! The people behind me were all slightly older than me and they laughed at stupid stuff...damn stoners... It was funny...but the violence seemed unecessary...so I'd give it a Matinee.

though there are some serious pacing issues that slow the movie down, this was a very funny movie. Full Price

I disagree with Corey. Thought the action was a nice break from the never-ending stoner scenes.

Wow, probably the worst review in Spill history. I can imagine what was running through Carlyle's mind before this "LOL, IF I ACT STONED IT WILL BE T3H FUNNY!". No, it was just stupid and uncomedic. My respect for spill has just taken a slight turn downward.

Wow. I would give this one a rental. There is nothing about this movie that makes it a "must see right now on the big screen". This has got to be the last hurah for these guys because a lot of these jokes are getting old, whether you're stoned or not.

Actually, if you look at the credits of the movie on IMDB.com, James Franco is referred to as the "New Goblin," NOT the Hobgoblin. So take THAT. lol James Franco ... New Goblin / Harry Osborn >http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0413300/ Don't try and top me on useless Spidey flick knowledge. You will lose EVERY time. LOL

Pineapple Express is a mess, but a wonderful one. It's not the ultimate movie about pot that I was expecting, instead it's a great ordinary-man action movie.I m watched Pineapple Express Here I've recommended it to a lot of people on here and I've gotten good reviews You could try to >http://www.80millionmoviesfree.com

My only pet peeve with this review is that you guys kept calling Franco "Green Goblin." Franco was the New Goblin. His Dad is the "Green Goblin" that got killed of (one too many) two movies ago. LOL

When I saw Transformers, all I could think was, how are they going to top that? Then I saw The Dark Knight. But then I was wondering how are they going to top that. Then I saw Pineapple Express. I'd say it is the funniest movie I have ever seen but I think you have to understand what getting stoned is to find it as funny as it was. A lot of the little stuff was over people's heads.

I think this movie (which I don't believe you have to be high to enjoy, was great!) and Tropic Thunder are going to save the remaining summer movie season. Of course Batman banked but working in a movie theater, the sales other than opening nights on the rest are less then stellar. So far my top movies for the summer are Batman, Iron Man and Kung Fu Panda and this one. Not in that order.
