I rented this and have to say it was bullshit. I saw the ending coming a mile off and kept thinking they better have a better ending than what i thought was coming. Then it played out exactly like I thought it was going to and it felt like a big F* YOU. It just pissed me off.

bad from the getgo. bad acting. some bad dialogue. These characters are about as annoying as singing cats. as stupid as a pile of silly putty. the characters aare either dumb, annoying, or you just don't care. and terrible ending. the origin of the mist was dumb. good things: the religious lady dies on screen.

i really don't see what carlye's problem is on this movie i loved it. in the sense of cloverfeild it's not about the monsters it's about the people and how they react to the situation. true i thought the ending was sad but with this kind of movie you can't really expect a happy fluffy ending other than that i thought it was a great look at how when the shit hits the fan it only takes takes one idiot (marsha gay hardding's character) to drag a bunch of panicked people, who could survive the situation if they keep cool and work together, and turn them into animals FULL PRICE.

OK! Look the Mist was a great movie! I loved it and everyone i had rent it loved it. It was a good horror movie without the blood and guts. Name me another movie thats kinda new that made your skin craw. Beside 1408 which is another king movie

Wow! What a great f*&$%ing flick!!! It was very close to the novella. It was a super thrilling movie and found myself having to catch my breath several times during the film. The ending was very unexpected and was pleasantly surprised by the non-hollywood ending. It was a very satisfying horror movie!!! 4 out of 4 stars!

I love this movie I got everything I wanted from it and I read the short story . I think if you look back at most of Kings horrer storys told on film this is the best with out a doubt .

I give this movie a M A T I N E E because it was a good monster movie. But I din't liked any of the characters and I din't liked the ending. And I did see the ending miles away, it's so obvious that everyone in a Stephen King movie who are not religious dies.

My friend's and I were watching this movie and at the end my one friend Morgan shouted, "OH MY GOD! That ending made me wanna punch a baby!" Not in the "this is crap" kinda way but in the "Grrr It makes me mad!" way. It was really good and you see the ending coming but the whole time your like, "Naw they won't do that...will they?"

I thought the monsters were some of the scariest ive ever seen and im not easily scarred ok. Great great movie i felt like hunting marca gay harden down and shooting her myself after this. Full price for sure

the mist was really a great movie. i never read the book. but the movie was well done. i enjoyed it alot, it's really one of the best movies of all time. i heard the ending in the movie was completelty different than the one in the book. so i would give this a 5/5

This Movie ROCK ASS!!! I loved it!!! It had me really interested. I gotta admit I didn't watch it at the movies when it came out thinking it was going to be a real disappointment like alot of the horror movies that come out now-a-days....and that it would be another King movie gone wrong like it happens 99.9% of the time when they turn a book or short-story of his into a movie...Then to boot I circle months through the rental store,picking up other craps instead of this movie thinking of how trouble it would be...DAMMIT!!! I should of watched it at the MOVIES!! It really did justice to the King, lol goes right along with Dreamcatcher. Def. one of my FAVS.

i'm with carlyle on this, this is some ol' bullsh*t, all the characters were annoying, and andrea braurer played one of the stupidest characters i've ever seen. the point of people being their own worst enemies is clever but i've seen it done soo much better. in fact, i've seen a twilight episode that did this brillantly, they had these aliens shut down all the power in a neighborhood, all exept one house, and everyone in the neighborhood assumed those people were the aliens, and they all began to destroy each other, mean while the aliens are on top of a hill watching everyone destroy each other without ever getting involved. i forget what the episode was called but if you've seen it, you know what i'm talking about. the mist sucked

ooooohhhhh carlyle! for shame. it was not some ol bullshit. I didn't happen upon seeing the movie in the most conventional ways, but i must say this movie was awesome. Yeah the CG was a little eh! but the crazy lady does act crazy and the father acts like a true father. that guy did a great job. yeah some of the acting was pooka, but you can't blame Steven king for bad actors. lol.i agree with Cyrus!
