ooooohhhhh carlyle! for shame. it was not some ol bullshit. I didn't happen upon seeing the movie in the most conventional ways, but i must say this movie was awesome. Yeah the CG was a little eh! but the crazy lady does act crazy and the father acts like a true father. that guy did a great job. yeah some of the acting was pooka, but you can't blame Steven king for bad actors. lol.i agree with Cyrus!

Carlyle, aka Mr. Pink who I'm calling him from now on, who I even called Mr. Hat more, is slowly becoming my favorite reviewer here because he gets me when it comes to bullshit like this...this movie is something that is a bit worce than bullshit...something that doesn't even get a 1/5...I give it, and I hope that it's a rating that you guys would use one day..I give it a "Fate Worce Than Death!"...Do not watch this movie, Do not evne think about watching this movie, the actors...every single character in that movie I just plain hated, I walked out of there angry as hell, I just wanted to find someone and punch them in the face, but at least my sanity was still in check for I know the cop would kick my ass for doing that...Also Andre Brower needs to stop playing those kinds of roles I mean he's way too good for that bullness...but yeah, I rate it Fate Worce Than Death aka 0/5!

I agree that you're not supposed to hate her liked Darth Vader because Darth Vader was bad-ass and cool. But Marcia Gay Harden is just saggy ass and cruel here. Usually when I see a bad guy in a movie, I either fear them or I tolerate them. But here, she's the first character in a film in a long time who I want to reach into the screen and strangle

I'm with Car on this one- went to the movie with 5 friends. 3 hated it. 2 we're slightly entertained. After seeing the first scene in the back room, and how bad the acting and CG was, I had a feeling this movie would fall short. Even though I was supposed to feel for the characters, I really didn't care cause they all just seemed unbelievable. The ending made me laugh- and YES, I SAW THAT A MILE AWAY I promise. Synopsis: Hey lookit the mIst- lets go out there, it's safe- oh schnap someone got killed, we shouldn't go out there! Actually, lets go out there, it's safe- oh schnap someone got killed, we shouldn't go out there! Actually, we changed our mind again- lets go out there, it's safe- oh schnap someone got killed, we shouldn't go out there! Repeat. Horrible. Sorry.

i had a cool crowd in the theater wen i went to see this we were all laughin almost the whole movie there was this one women i coulda sworn was black cuz she was laughin all loud she was kinda chubby and had a big ass bucket of popcorn wit her(reminds me of my kin haha) and wen ms clamity or watever her name was, the religious nut, got shot i yelled finally! and i got aplause and laughter :D and wen that old lady used the homade flame thrower i clapped and everyone else clapped it was great

WOW. What the HELL were you guys watching?! Take it from 3000. I just downloaded this movie, don't tell. I'm a robot I can do that. Anyway, THIS IS THE BEST MONSTER MOVIE EVER! THIS MOVIE HAS BALLS. If you don't like this movie you and your whole family are morons and you should stop breeding! DON'T BE A DUMB DUMB. GO SEE THIS MOVIE. If you don't, you deserve all the other crap Hollywoods been shoving down your pie holes. I thought the opposite of what the spill crew had to say. Cyrus it seems to me you were holding back. Wow, I'm a little disappointed that y'all didn't like it more. Cyrus was the only one who seemed to really dig it. Personally, I loved it. I guess I wasn't expecting a whole lot -- the previews just made me assume it'd be a decently-entertaining-but-ultimately-mediocre critter-flick, but I was pleasantly surprised by the characters, the suspense, and all the mini-homages to other horror authors & themes that King had thrown in. I didn't realize going into it that Darabont was the director. That was another pleasant surprise. Anyway, I thought the movie was wholly enjoyable. And while I agree with Cyrus about the CGI-ness of the critters (that's really my only complaint), I thought the acting was quite good. Particularly Marcia Gay Harden. MAN I wanted her to die, the more gruesomely the better, but I loved all the little nuances in her performance.
